“Widow Jane Paradigm Rye is a stone-fruit bomb with a subtle kiss of smoke on the nose. With notes of dried apricot, peach, toasted almonds and brioche that ends with a luxurious, buttery finish,” says Sharon Yeung.  “Surprisingly easy drinking with light, sweet citrus notes followed by a spicy finish. “Hailing from Charm City, Baltimore’s Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey embodies the Maryland style of high-rye whiskey with its bold flavors of baking spice tempered by hits of caramelized honey and citrus,” says Sother Teague. This blend of two straight rye mash bills are aged 4 to 6 years in high-char American oak barrels. The first is a high-rye, which adds notes of cinnamon and clove, and the second, a low-rye, contributes notes of caramel, honey, and citrus peel. The final spirit is proofed with limestone-filtered water from Sagamore’s spring house, which was originally built in 1909. It’s a Maryland classic!
