This American gin is named for Dorothy Parker, the iconic New York writer who was known for her acerbic tongue, her literary prowess, and her cocktail predilections.
Dorothy Parker Gin strikes the perfect balance in taste and flavor profile; it's both classic and contemporary in equal measure.
Distilled and bottled at New York Distilling Co. located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, it is one of their two flagship gins.
It’s a great mixing gin that has a bold flavor that works well in combination with other spirits. It’s one of the most accessible and well balanced contemporary styled gins out on the market. - Aaron Knoll, The Gin Is In

Production Notes |
The foundation for this spirit is that gin hallmark, the juniper berry. The juniper berries used here are inherently sweet and fruity, and this gin seeks to accentuate the fruit quality of the juniper by pairing it with elderberries and hibiscus petals. The result is a spirit with distinctively floral attributes that is still very much a gin. As part of the development process, any spirit created by New York Distilling Company must prove itself worthy for use in a variety of cocktails. This ensures it delivers against what one expects from an excellent cocktail while still retaining its distinctive characteristics. Here the Dorothy Parker avails itself beautifully; it's absolutely ideal for the martini, gin & tonic, negroni, gin sour, and the gimlet (and all manner of other cocktails, too). |
