Penelope Bourbon Barrel Strength

An intensification of flavor marks this delicious, higher-proof expression of Penelope's signature four grain bourbon, for a multi-layered and deeply enjoyable tasting experience.

Penelope Barrel Strength is an excellent bottle that is very approachable. It offers terrific value for quality and is a great jumping off point for exploring higher proof bourbons.

Batch 5.

This offers a bold, concentrated caramel tone that mingles with a hint of plum skin. A pleasant prickle of sweet spices—cinnamon, cardamom, clove, cayenne—lingers on the finish. - Kara Newman, Wine Enthusiast

750ml & 116 Proof

Tasting Notes Aromas of rich fruit, syrup, and sweetness, savory grain notes alongside pleasant citrus. On the palate, orange peel, fruit, caramel, and increased oak notes to provide a good kick in the body. The finish is balanced and smooth, candied sweetness, smoke, and savory grain.
