This is a craft gin through and through. Every element has been carefully considered and adheres to the highest standards of quality, from the selection of the botanicals through the distillation process on to the materials used for the bottles and labels.
Amázzoni Gin's botanical blend marries Old World and New. Classic ingredients most commonly found in gin including juniper, citrus, coriander, laurel, and pink pepper are paired with a selection of Brazilian botanicals which have never before been used in gin distillation. An herbal, spicy, distinctively gin and distinctively unique taste awaits.
The Brazilian botanicals: cocoa, The Brazil nut, cipò cravo (clove vine), maxixe (spiny cucumber) and water lily seed come from all five regions of Brazil. They pay tribute to all of Brazil and its fascinating ecological diversity.
Amázzoni is made at Brazil's only dedicated gin distillery, which is the largest gin distillery in Latin America today. Cachoeira Farm dates from 1717. It is a former coffee farm and cachaça distillery located in the lush Paraíba valley, halfway between Rio and São Paulo. The distillery is 100% sustainable, with no waste generated. Many of the botanicals used in the gin are grown on-site and even the bottles are produced from recycled glass.
