This American gin is named for Dorothy Parker, the iconic New York writer who was known for her acerbic tongue, her literary prowess, and her cocktail predilections.
Dorothy Parker Gin strikes the perfect balance in taste and flavor profile; it's both classic and contemporary in equal measure.
Distilled and bottled at New York Distilling Co. located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, it is one of their two flagship gins. Explore the other, Perry's Tot, here.
It’s a great mixing gin that has a bold flavor that works well in combination with other spirits. It’s one of the most accessible and well balanced contemporary styled gins out on the market. - Aaron Knoll, The Gin Is In
750ml & 88 Proof
||Juniper forward with floral notes surrounding it on the nose and on the palate. Hibiscus and pine linger, and cinnamon bark makes an appearance giving it a spicy warm backbone. A dry finish with citrus and a floral warmth.
Ways to Enjoy
Classic: A gin Martini, one of Ms. Parker's most famous favorites
Unexpected: Make an old-school Gin Daisy, using orange liqueur (we recommend Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur) and lemon juice.

||The foundation for this spirit is that hallmark of gin, the juniper berry. The juniper berries used here are inherently sweet and fruity, and this gin seeks to accentuate the fruit quality of the juniper by pairing it with elderberries and hibiscus petals. The result is a spirit with distinctively floral attributes that is still very much a gin.
As part of the development process, any spirit created by New York Distilling Company must prove itself worthy for use in a variety of cocktails. This ensures it delivers against what one expects from an excellent cocktail while still retaining its distinctive characteristics. Here the Dorothy Parker avails itself beautifully; it's absolutely ideal for the martini, gin & tonic, negroni, gin sour, and the gimlet (and all manner of other cocktails, too).
New York Distilling Company is the first distillery to open in New York City since the Prohibition Era. It was born during (and in many ways in response to) the renaissance of cocktail culture in New York City in the early years of the 21st Century. As such, its spirits are designed with the creation of excellent and inspired cocktails in mind.
New York Distilling Company has a deep commitment to the art and craft of distilling. They produce and age all of their spirits in-house, and they are continually experimenting with new and better ways to create authentic, top-quality spirits without compromise.
