Double Rye! is a blend of two different rye whiskeys. It is also crafted to be twice as spicy (think cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves) as your average rye whiskey.
Thanks to its balance of cinnamon, anise, and honey, High West Double Rye! stands on its own in cocktails, but is great served neat, with a little water, or on the rocks.
“This is a very smooth, complex, easy drinking rye whiskey, with a distinctive taste wrapped around a classic rye profile.”- Forbes
750ml & 92 Proof
Tasting Notes | Known for its rich and spicy flavor. Mint, clove, apple cinnamon, and pine nut aromas all pleasantly mix together. First sip is spicy; however, mint, anise and cinnamon quickly kick in creating a light burn on the palate. Sweetening through the finish with notes of cinnamon and mint to create a long lingering spice. |

Founder Story |
High West Distillery was founded in 2006 by husband and wife David and Jane Perkins. David was inspired to open his own distillery because he recognized the parallels between the fermentation and distilling processes in his own line of work, as a biochemist. They landed on Park City, Utah as the home of High West, and became the first legal distillery to open in Utah since 1870. |
